My mind quickened and clung to its molt. I, with earnest, tried to grasp at that craggy coast again, for I had just arrived there, before I was a&#8217;jolt. The small boat dithered as it was moored by the mysterious husk that brought me here. I raised my foot to place it on the angry quay, and lo! the fickle tides knowing no mercy bore me over the side, bound as I was by hand, I landed not in the turbulent black, but on frothy shore.
